Demo: Instructor Resources
simCEO contains the following resources for the instructors of the simulation:
- all of the existing student resources
- connections to the voluntary economic standards developed by the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) as well as additional economic content. Connections include teaching suggestions, lesson plans, teacher guides and student worksheets.
- a simulation set-up guide (view now in FlashPaper) with screenshots and suggestions (to make the simululation more effective for the participants and minimize your set-up time)
- a user-friendly interface to allow teachers to select which assignments students will need to complete in order to develop their business plan, edit bulletin board announcements, and easily change company prices
- sample fictional and non-fictional articles that could be used during the simulation
- sample self and peer evaluation forms
- possibilities for cross-curricular or cross-school connections
- possibilities for group work (Remember: All participants can trade; but not all students have to create a business.)
- worksheets and assignment ideas to reinforce and assess investing basics
- email support
