This demo is broken up into 3 parts:
From a participant's point of view, playing the simulation is broken down into 3 stages.
1. Create Initially, students create their own businesses by completing short assignments that are determined by the simulation's instructor.
2. Research After students have created their businesses, they will actively research companies online for investment potential.
3. TradeThe instructor sets a "Start Trading" date. Starting with $10,000 , participants must stay aware of changes in prices and news stories to make decisions on buying/selling shares and banking options as they strive to manage a successful portfolio.
What tasks must the instructor complete to make the simulation possible? They are listed here (under each appropriate stage of the simulation) and detailed throughout the rest of this demo.

The goal of this demo is to provide a general overview of the simulation. Indivduals who wish to learn more are encouraged to download our FlashPaper presentations for a more detailed description of How It Works and the Set Up Process. Both of these include screen shots, suggestions, and greater detail. We have even created a presenation to highlight the significant educational benefits of simCEO
Before we learn how to set up businesses and run the simulation, we need to understand the specific environment in which the simulation takes place. The instructor will decide this. We call it creating the parameters. Learn more about this in our next section.
