Demo: The Simulation Homepage
The class page contains a bulletin board, the environment summary, and rules (partially shown in this screenshot) for the simulation.
After students login to simCEO, they will be greeted by a class-specific page that is called the homepage. The homepage has three sections for participants to see:
- the Environment,
- the Rules (The rules and environment will not change during the simulation),
- and the Bulletin Board which contains messages for all the participants.
The bulletin board can only be updated by the instructor.
Messages might include:
- due dates for assignments
- a recent news article that might affect the simulation
- a change in the rules
- an announcement that a student has altered a business plan in the recent past
- postings of students who are late with a particular assignment (thereby decreasing their investment potential)
- ...or just about anything
