Teacher Information

The purchasing process for simCEO includes 4 easy steps.

  1. Fill out this registration form
  2. print off the confirmation page (the next screen) and give it to your purchasing officer. It includes instructions for payment.
  3. Pay be check or credit card.  
  4. Receive an email with authorization codes for access to the simulation as well as a receipt of payment.

Please fill in following personal information. When selecting a teacher username please remember the following:

  • It must be one word with no spaces.
  • The teacher username will not be case sensitive.
  • It must be at least 5 characters long.
  • Only numbers or letters may be used.

You will use this username each time you log into the simulation.

Upon completing this registration process, your application will be reviewed and a password will be included in your authorization email.

Class Information

Each simulation is referred to as a "class".

Each class needs a name. This name will appear throughout the simulation to help participants identify the correct class. As you name your class, keep in mind that it will be the heading of pages such as " _________ Home Page" Some examples include:

  • Mr. Johnson's Section 7C
  • The CHS Economics Class
  • The SCIS Future Millionaires
  • Business Management 101

It is also likely that one teacher may wish to establish more than one simulation: a simulation for Group A participants who would compete against each other, and a simulation for Group B participants who would compete against each other. The rules and simulation parameters for each of these simulations may or may not be the same. In this case, the teacher must register two separate classes. (Repeat the entire registration process for each class.)

Number of Participants

Each participant in simCEO (whether creating a business and investing, or simply participating as an investor), is charged $8.00. Instructors may find it helpful to order an extra participant or two to account for newly arriving students (transfers, etc.). Once this number is registered, it cannot be exceeded. (However, you can change the names of students after you input them into the simulation.) No refunds will be given for extra students that are registered here but not input into the simulation.

There is also a minimum simulation cost of $120.00 (authorizing 15 participants).
