You have chosen to sell all of your shares. Perhaps you felt that the increasing PE made the stock too expensive. And you aren't ready to throw away your money just because people are telling you "that the market is on its way to the sky". Well, you should be prepared to hear "I told you so" a few times. The market in general took off like a rocket and XYZ was no exception. In six months it more than tripled from the starting price of $31.00 to a current price of $101. Sorry, this train took off without you. Many of your friends (and even people you never met before) seem to be telling you about their early retirement. You grit your teeth when you hear these stories as you imagine yourself working as a part-time bartender for your neighbor's millionaire-only parties.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Yes, you missed this opportunity. But one of the hardest things about being involved in this type of market is knowing when to sell. Very few people sold XYZ at its highest price, and many would continue to hang on to XYZ even when it would start its eventual downward movement.
