Demo: Human Resources

Not all participants in simCEO need to be CEOs. Instructors may enter some participants as non-CEOs, allowing them to manage an investment portfolio (like all users), but not allowing them to create a company.

Instead, through the Human Resources section, CEOs of companies can hire this non-CEOs as employees to help create and develop a successful business.

To understand the process:

  1. CEOs must create a job posting and describe the position sought.
  2. Non-CEOs see these posting and can apply directly to the CEO.
  3. If the CEO hires a non-CEO, then the employee has access to define and edit the company business plan.
  4. At any point, the CEO may fire the employee or the employee may quit, thus opening up the position.
  5. CEOs can have many employees at once, but the employees can only have one CEO / company for which they work.

This is one way that simCEO allows groups of users to work together.
